The Wisdom School marked a red letter day today on 25th May 2023 as it observed its first *Investiture Ceremony*. Honourable Principal Mr. Gurpreet Singh, Chairman sir Mr. Nachhater Singh ji Mantri and Vice Principal Mrs. Priyanka Arora, presided over the ceremony. Other members who added grace to the function were The Wisdom School faculty. The ceremony began with the warm welcome of the luminary members of the Council by a group song. The. The main highlights of the day included the group song, patriotic song, solo dance performance and impressive speech by the Principal Sir. Grand March entry by the Student Council with the Head Boy and the Head Girl, Aditya Arora and Jasleen Kaur respectively in the lead followed by different houses Captain and vice-captain – The Bhaskara (Eknoor and Avni), Kalam ( Mrigank and Sahib), Kalpana (Gursimar and Suvesha), Tagore (Poonam and Gagandeep). Stirring dance performances by the students of grades 6th and 9th were spellbound and mesmerising. The Gymnastics performance by Wisdom Gymnasts also stole the show. The Cabinet of the student council and the rest of the office bearers were badged and sashed by the Principal Sir, Chairman Sir and Vice Principal mam. The Oath taken by the School Head Boy and Head girl followed next wherein the entire Student Council declared their dedicated commitment to their Offices of Duties. The words of wisdom were shared by the honourable Principal by congratulating and motivating them to strike a balance between academics and Sports or Cultural activities besides sincerely officiating their duties. He also stated that they expect all of them to hold their prestigious positions. Mam Anvi and Ashima declared the closing of the investiture Ceremony by extending a vote of thanks to all present in this ceremony.
