“ New Parents Orientation Programme Session 2023-24” A parent is a teacher at home, a teacher is a parent at school & the child is the centre of our universe! An orientation programme was organised for new parents at The Wisdom School,Sirsa on 1st of April'23. The event commenced with lamp lightning by management members This followed by enlightening the parents with plans for upcoming session- the curriculum, evaluation systems, extracurricular activities, teaching methodology, Scholastic learning engagement and student support services. Parents were also informed about transportation, new technologies and strategies with PPT by Mrs Priyanka Arora, Vice-Principal of the school. Respected Principal Sir Mr. Gurpreet also welcomed all the parents and gave a motivational address. He said – Parents and School are like two wings of a bird, if both wings are not equivalent in strength then bird can’t fly likely for a child’s all-round development both Parents and school need to be involved at every step. Teachers set the floor on fire by their energetic singing and dancing performance. The parents then met the class teachers of their child in their respective classrooms and It helped children and parents alleviate stress or apprehension before starting the academic session and establish a positive and supportive relationship between the school and parents. The orientation programme proved to be a sincere effort made by the school in educating the parents to look after and guide their children in a proper manner. Catch the glimpses!!
